CompanyAbout Vitae

We are building the recruiting platform that bends to your business.

Vitae is a London team of recruiters, engineers, and designers building the ATS and CRM that runs hiring for you. We got tired of tools that made the human do the work the software should be doing. So we built ours.

01Mission/ why we exist

Recruiters should spend their time on conversations.

Most recruiters spend the majority of their day moving information between tabs. We think that is a software failure, not a human one. The right platform should run the busywork, surface the decisions, and free the recruiter to do the parts of the job that actually need a human.

Recruiters are the customer.

Every product decision starts with the working recruiter. Not the analyst, not the buyer, not the board. If it does not make a recruiter's day better, it does not ship.

AI is leverage, not autonomy.

We build agents that handle the busywork. The human stays in the loop on every decision that matters. Approval gates by default, audit logs everywhere, no black boxes.

Flexible beats opinionated.

Every recruiting team works differently. We give you the building blocks. You shape how it works. We refuse to corner you into one way of working.

Free to walk away.

Bring your own AI keys. Export your data anytime. Native MCP and a complete API mean you can swap us out as easily as you swap us in.

03Story/ how we got here

We started where the pain was loudest.

Vitae was started in 2024 by a small team that had spent years working with recruiting agencies and in-house TA teams. The pattern was the same everywhere. A recruiter would sit down at 9am, open fifteen tabs, and spend most of the day moving information between them.

We tried every tool on the market. None of them ran the workflow. They tracked it. Some of them had AI features bolted on. None of them felt like a platform built for the way recruiting actually works in 2026.

So we built one. The first version of Vitae shipped in early 2025. Today it runs every day across agencies, executive search firms, RPOs, and in-house teams, with users in 20 countries. The roadmap is public. The model is to keep building close to working recruiters, ship fast, and keep the platform flexible enough to bend to any recruiting business model.

We are headquartered in London, with team and customers around the world. We are hiring across engineering, design, and customer-facing roles. If our values resonate, see our open roles.

04Founders/ who is building this

Twelve years building recruiting tech.

Vitae is being built by founders who have spent their careers inside this problem. Together we have implemented HR and recruitment systems into some of the world’s largest recruiting agencies, background screening companies, and government bodies. Vitae is the suite of tools we wished we had every step of the way, rebuilt for the AI age.

Poya Farighi
Poya Farighi
Co-founder & CEO

Poya is a second-time founder in recruitment tech. He built and sold his last recruiting software company to private equity, and has spent 15 years working alongside recruitment agencies, background screening providers, and in-house hiring teams. He's seen every messy spreadsheet, clunky ATS, and broken handoff the industry has to offer, and he's building Vitae to fix them.

Vincent Tellier
Vincent Tellier
Co-founder & CTO

Vincent has spent 12 years building recruiting software used by thousands of recruiters every day. He's been working with large language models since GPT-3, with hands-on experience building AI agents that actually do the work, not just chat about it. At Vitae, he designs how the AI thinks, plans, and acts across the hiring process, and leads the engineering team building it.
